Special emphasis was placed on the interaction between playing and sound generation: thanks to extensive modulation routings, an organic flow is created that makes playing inspiring and lively. Promo„FM extended“ comprises 100 patches based on the frequency modulation (FM) sound synthesis called „Kernel Synthesis“ in the Waldorf Iridium & Quantum. The patches make use of several FX programs so they can be played easily as stand alone voices. In case you should prefer less full sounding voices in the mix with other instruments just decrease the length or amount of the effect programs used. You can use these patches also as a starting point for your own sonic world! This soundset does not use any samples.

PromoRob Papen is a well-known sound designer from the Netherlands and many of his sounds and plug-ins have become legendary. In the 90s he supplied several sound sets for the Microwave 1, which had then just seen the light of day. His "Techno" and "Signature" cards inspired many users and can therefore be heard on countless productions of the 90s.
