Holger Steinbrink has already programmed Sounds for the first Waldorf Pulse in the 1990s. Since then, his sounds have been found in numerous Waldorf synthesizers such as Q, Blofeld, or Largo. He also programmed numerous sounds for Steinberg (including Retrologue, Padshop), Wizoo, Virsyn and other companies.
The soundset offers two versions: Standard and V2, which also supports the new features of the recently released Version 2.0.
In an old german folk song it means: “Oh you beautiful Western Forrest, the wind whistles so cold over your heights.” Exactly this mysterious german low mountain range was the source of inspiration for the soundset.
