Holger Steinbrink has already programmed Sounds for the first Waldorf Pulse in the 1990s. Since then, his sounds have been found in numerous Waldorf synthesizers such as Q, Blofeld, or Largo. He also programmed numerous sounds for Steinberg (including Retrologue, Padshop), Wizoo, Virsyn and other companies.

Kris Amphlett is a professional sound designer and synthesizer programmer from the UK who has been working with the sample library & sound design team “Dark Window Recs” for several years. With an Honours Degree in Creative and Commercial Music, involving audio engineering for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and designing audio assets for the Natural History Museum in London, Kris also has the unusual skill of being able to mentally ‘visualise’ a sound, and then transcribe it into life using synthesizers and audio editing tools.

Tobias Menguser now „returned“ to the Microwave after more than 30 years! „FM extended“ comprises 100 patches based on the frequency modulation (FM) sound synthesis called „Kernel Synthesis“ in the Waldorf Iridium & Quantum. The patches make use of several FX programs so they can be played easily as stand alone voices. In case you should prefer less full sounding voices in the mix with other instruments just decrease the length or amount of the effect programs used. You can use these patches also as a starting point for your own sonic world! This soundset does not use any samples.

Rob Papen is a well-known sound designer from the Netherlands and many of his sounds and plug-ins have become legendary. In the 90s he supplied several sound sets for the Microwave 1, which had then just seen the light of day. His "Techno" and "Signature" cards inspired many users and can therefore be heard on countless productions of the 90s. Darius R. is an electronic music producer/remixer and sound designer based in Barcelona. Over the years, he produced mainly EDM / House and remixed various artists . His music was also featured in the “Indian Flow” documentary (2011, Aplysia Productions). This soundset for Waldorf PPG Wave 3.v contains mainly Pads and Polysynth Sounds. In addition some more sounds from the categories Lead, Key and Arp are included. For approximately three quarters of the sounds samples were used which in the PPG Wave 3.V are called „Transients“. This is the origin of the second part of the title. Those samples were done over a longer time with the help of a various hardware and software synthesizers and other plugins.
