The Quantum Synthesizer is the heart of his studio.

Promo„FM extended“ comprises 100 patches based on the frequency modulation (FM) sound synthesis called „Kernel Synthesis“ in the Waldorf Iridium & Quantum. The patches make use of several FX programs so they can be played easily as stand alone voices. In case you should prefer less full sounding voices in the mix with other instruments just decrease the length or amount of the effect programs used. You can use these patches also as a starting point for your own sonic world! This soundset does not use any samples.

PromoThe PPG synthesizers opened a new era in sounds using wavetables back in the 70s and 80s. Waldorf incorporated this technology (and the original PPG wavetables) in many of their synthesizers, also in the Iridium/Quantum. After releasing several sound sets and presets for the Waldorf Blofeld, Pulse2 and the Iridium/Quantum (listen to the free soundset „spaceman“ and the soundsets „FM revistied“ and „FM extended“ available from the Waldorf homepage) this soundset „PPG Dreams“ is one more step towards a magic sonic wavetable-universe of Waldorf synthesizers.

PromoRob Papen is a well-known sound designer from the Netherlands and many of his sounds and plug-ins have become legendary. In the 90s he supplied several sound sets for the Microwave 1, which had then just seen the light of day. His "Techno" and "Signature" cards inspired many users and can therefore be heard on countless productions of the 90s. The two sound sets have now been freshly reworked by Rob Papen and optimized on the Waldorf M, for the Waldorf M.

PromoThis soundset for Waldorf PPG Wave 3.v contains mainly Pads and Polysynth Sounds. In addition some more sounds from the categories Lead, Key and Arp are included. For approximately three quarters of the sounds samples were used which in the PPG Wave 3.V are called „Transients“. This is the origin of the second part of the title. Those samples were done over a longer time with the help of a various hardware and software synthesizers and other plugins.
