OK MUSIC is a creative team that writes, produces, and advises on music in the R&B, Pop, and Alternative genres for international artists and its own projects. The core team consists of Olaf Wampke, Jörg János Jäger, and many creative minds from the fields of music, film, art, culture, design, philosophy, and science. Since the 90s, Olaf Wampke has developed sound design for advertising, film, and various manufacturers such as Yamaha, Emu, Akai, and Roland. Later, he focused more on sound design in the musical realm, particularly in mastering, at Château du Pape, the current Home Studios in Hamburg. Jörg János Jäger has worked in the areas of advertising, film music, and music production. In this context, the Waldorf Quantum/Iridium offers a unique opportunity to shape the sound one envisions quickly and intuitively with the hands.

synth_nyc has been working with synthesizers since the mid-80s. He gained experience with MKS50, CS80, Jupiter-8, Waldorf Wave, Prophet VS and many more. His passion for synthesizers has remained to this day and he currently provides soundsets for “gsmusic” and, among others, an OB-E set for “gforcesoftware”. The Blue Journey 128 sound set for the M synthesizer explores the technology from the past that made PPG and Waldorf Music machines historical landmarks. It highlights firmware version 1.07 and 1.08 that brought a slew of functionally to the M; almost giving it new synthesizer engines without sacrificing user experience! Anthony Rother is an influential visionary, an electro pioneer and one of electronic music’s most prolific producers. For more than two decades Rother aggregated a vast musical canon that reflects his unique career as a sound researcher exploring the aesthetics far beyond the boundaries of electro, techno and pop music. For Waldorf Music he sat down at his Iridium Keyboard and exclusively designed 64 signature sounds using the vast palette of possibilities of the instruments sound engine which we are proud to share with all Iridium and Quantum owners free of charge.

Yuuki Koide is a Japanese musician, producer and sound designer who has already released a successful soundset for the Waldorf Nave plug-in. He loves chillout, trance and techno. The soundset contains 20 typical patches, some of which also contain split layer sounds and can be used in many different ways. The structure of the patches is extensively documented.

This soundset for Waldorf PPG Wave 3.v contains mainly Pads and Polysynth Sounds. In addition some more sounds from the categories Lead, Key and Arp are included. For approximately three quarters of the sounds samples were used which in the PPG Wave 3.V are called „Transients“. This is the origin of the second part of the title. Those samples were done over a longer time with the help of a various hardware and software synthesizers and other plugins.
