Nave Plugin EN2023-11-24T11:11:21+01:00

The award-winning Nave has succeeded in changing perceptions of what a serious iOS instrument can be, thanks to unique sounds simply unachievable with any other synthesizer. We have often been asked when Nave would be available on other platforms. This new Nave brings that notable Nave sound engine to your favorite DAW.

Designers have optimized its spectacular graphical user interface to work with the tried-and-tested computer combo of keyboard and mouse (or track pad) rather than touch screen surface technology, yet nothing has been lost in translation. The featured-packed Nave comes pre-packed with superb sounds, ranging from spatial pads to vivid wavetable scans and cutting leads to solid basses, but, above and beyond that, also an abundance of incredibly imaginative sound worlds – many of them professionally produced by some of the top sound designers around.

As a synthesizer thoroughbred at heart, Nave really represents a phenomenal playground for sound creation creativity. Its oscillators offer expanded wavetable functionality with elaborate editing facilities and an extremely effective speech synthesizer.

Anyone at all familiar with Waldorf software instruments will immediately feel right at home with the typical Waldorf workflow where sound shaping modules are always directly accessible and all Arpeggiator, Envelopes, Effects, and Modulation Matrix management controls are only one push of a virtual button away.

Nave compliments its standard yet classy chromatic keyboard with groundbreaking blades and pads to control the sound in different ways.

I have purchased a Waldorf plugin before December 2016. Now I want to install the software again, but the eLicenser registration process does not work and the software cannot be installed.2022-12-02T12:37:12+01:00

We made a system change in December 2016. Since then, we no longer work with the eLicenser, but use an in-house licensing system. It is no longer possible to carry out new installations with an eLicenser.

If you need a new licence, please contact our support:

support@waldorfmusic.com

Which licensing system is being used and how often can I install the software?2023-09-07T12:43:13+02:00

We use our own in-house licensing system which is fully software based. A dongle is not neccessary. Our software can not be installed using an eLicenser anymore.

With the purchase of one license, the software can be installed and used on up to 3 computers simultaneously.

The activation of my plugin doesn’t work.2023-09-07T12:40:30+02:00

Enter the activation info manually, not with copy and paste.

Please load the plugin in another DAW. On Mac, you can use Garageband. On Windows, you may use the free VSTHOST/SAVIHost. Activate it there and then load it again from the DAW that you normally use.

I have downloaded and installed the software, but I can’t open or execute it anywhere.2023-09-07T12:37:51+02:00

Our plugins are made to be used as an instrument in a DAW, like Ableton Live, Cubase, Logic, Bitwig etc. You can call up the plugins within those programs. Runnin them as a standalone application is not possible. The Waldorf Edition contains 3 plugins (Attack, PPG2 and D-Pole). Attack and PPG must be loaded as instruments and D-Pole as audio FX.

I can’t install your software on my Mac! The file I’ve downloaded isn’t executable, my system tells me: Can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.2022-12-02T13:21:13+01:00

Right-click (Ctrl+click) the package you’ve downloaded, and select Open or go on Open with and choose the standard installation program. Now click on Open in the next pop-up and the installation will start.

Further information can be found here.

I want to sell my software license to someone else, is that possible and how do I do that?2023-02-02T10:12:06+01:00

A license transfer is possible.

Make sure that your license is on our current system. This is the case when your license shows up in myWaldorf at my licenses.
Sell your license to another person. After the sale, send a message using the support form. Your message must contain:

  • which software you want to transfer
  • a copy of the invoice or a proof of purchase of your software purchase
  • the e-mail address that has been used to register the license on you and
  • the e-mail address and name from the person who now owns the license

We will check if everything is OK and then transfer the license to the new owner.
