After upgrading the SOM Board, the following new features will be available to you:
- New Seeds oscillator: Waypoint synthesis providing timbral journeys using sub-oscillators based on various methods like Ring Modulation, FM, Wavetable, Partials and various Noise/DirtTypes.
- Per-Note-Parameter-Locks, allowing individual parameter variations per note inspired by Aphex Twin
- Flavour control for micro-variations in timing, pitch, and timbre
- Multi-Timbral with 4 layers with advanced multi-timbral modes such as round-robin and random-robin
- 6 GB increased sample flash memory preloaded with 2 GB factory samples*
- New polyphonic Arpeggiator modes**
- Mutator patch randomizer**
- The number of available voices (polyphony) remains unchanged.
*Since the Quantum MK2 already has 59 GB of flash memory, the SOM upgrade has no effect here.
** Also available for devices without SOM upgrade with OS Version 4.0.6 or higher.
