Quantum Power, Compact Form
The powerful synth engine from Quantum is available in a compact, rack-compatible form: Iridium. It offers the same advanced synthesis, flexibility, and sound-shaping capabilities, all in a streamlined, intuitive layout. Housed in a durable metal case and built with Quantum-level craftsmanship, Iridium is ready for studios and stages worldwide.

Iridium’s 5-Engine Power
Continuing Waldorf’s legacy, Iridium builds on the PPG Wave heritage with far more power. Each of its three oscillators supports five synthesis types:
Wavetable
Waveform (Virtual Analog)
Particle (Sampling & Granular)
Resonator
Kernels
Kernel Power & Patch Freedom
With OS 2.0, Kernel mode transforms one oscillator into six sub-oscillators, enabling complex FM configurations—powerful enough to be a synth on its own. This feature is now fully integrated into Iridium. It also supports up to 7000 patches and seamless patch exchange with Quantum.

Versatile Filters, True Stereo Power
Iridium offers three digital filters per voice—two in the Dual Filter section and one in the Digital Former. Choose from classic 12/24dB LP/HP/BP types, plus models from Nave, Largo, and PPG 3V. The Digital Former adds unique types like Comb, Drive, and Bitcrusher. All filters operate in true stereo and support flexible routing and link modes.
Deep Modulation, Endless Motion
Iridium features 6 envelopes, 6 LFOs, and more, all ready for use in the 40-slot Modulation Matrix—with an extra control amount per slot. Nearly any parameter can be modulated multiple times. Need more? The Komplex Modulator lets you create custom LFOs or envelopes.

Complex, but not complicated
Even though Iridium features a staggering amount of parameters to control, everything is organized in a logic structure which is easy to master. The major controls have their own dedicated knob, while the rest is accessible through the touch screen and the encoders around. There are no long menus keeping you from doing what you had planned. Instead, you will find a workflow which you will soon miss on other synthesizers.
