The new vocoder/string machine may change things, I'd hazard a guess they will have some changes that will transpose to the Striechfett.

Waldorf will not implement the keyboard split the way that I proposed. See reaction from Waldowf below:

Hello Michel,

Most keyboards or synthesizers above standard level can do that. If they can split sounds over the keyboard, most likely they will be able to send out those zones on individual MIDI channels.
Even my cheap old Yamaha PSR-510 was able to do it :) Or just look out for a „master keyboard“. These things are worth an investment when you’re working with MIDI on a regular basis.

Another option might be to use a DAW or another software on a computer to split the notes into channels and then loop back the signal to the MIDI out and into Streichfett.
PureData might be an option which is free of charge, but it’s rather complicated to handle. Maybe your computer’s DAW can already do the job.

As the feature of MIDI channel splitting is fairly common in keyboards or software, we will not implement this on the Streichfett in the way you’ve requested.

Kind regards, / Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
