I have a problem for which I have made a small video. My Rocket plays a tone, when I lift my fingers off the keyboard, after hitting multiple keys (a chord for example).

Happens with every MIDI device I have ...

Any advice anyone?

Thx

I'm having similar issues with my Rocket, looks like
it's responding to Note On & Note Off, i'm trying to get it to play
arpeggios and it's regularly holding notes or arping chords..
the arps are usually completely out out sync as well, but i'll
look at that seperately.
I've updated firmware, next i will look at changing the midi
input parameters via the control software i guess

Please play the same thing on your keyboard again and show the data a MIDI monitor is showing.

I know some keyboards that sent out MIDI not the way it is usually done. Sometimes keyboards don't sent a note-off data, but a new note with a velocity of zero to stop a note. And this is not such a good idea.

Thanks for the feedback. This actually happens with ALL my devices (Arturia Keystep, Arturia Beatstep, Yamaha Piaggero) … However – how can I check this properly? In my setup, there is no computer, all is wired via old school midi cables. I can attach the devices to my MacBook via USB, but this isn't necessarily the same signal then.

Also, what would you recommend as a preferrable MIDI monitor software on the Mac?

Plus – wouldn't it then also happen, why I just press one key? And as well, when the rocket is not set to paraphony?

Thx

I use the freeware "MIDI Monitor" here.
But if this happens with all keyboard, this is a bit strange.
Do you use the MIDI Out of the Rocket while doing this?
If yes, please unconnect it and try again.

I can not recreate this problem here.

Nope - MIDI Out is not connected to anything …
