normal MicroQ - 'Lite' or 'Full' version ?

I heard there was a 'Lite' version of the MicroQ that was software crippled with less voices and some FX disabled, with the option to upgrade to full MicroQ specifications.

I am looking at some used MicroQ's (yellow & blue) on the second-hand market.
Is there a way to tell if they are a 'Lite' version or 'Full' version, without having physical access the device?

Thanks,
Michael.

Usually, there is a sticker in the front.

None the less, if you somehow get a "Lite" version, Waldorf gives you a free upgrade to the "Full" version, since it is only software.

Also, there is the Omega version with more voices, you need an expansion board installed. Most people with an Omega version would know they have one and advertise it as such, since a brand new expansion board is about $400 USD.

Hi Michael,
sorry für late answer.
You can upgrade any microQ Lite with the free Software/OS to a full microQ with 25 voices.
You‘ll find the Upgrade at the Waldorf webpage->microQ.
Read the answer from gusbeto37.
