Hello,
I bought a new Waldorf Blofeld last monday which has the v1.24 already installed from factory.
I've to admit, I love the sound, but it's full of bugs which is really annoying.
I will write a list of what I've experienced in just one day. I'm considering myself to return it.
Are you experimenting something like this? I would like that waldorf consider this post in order to fix the bugs I report.
I will update it If I found more.

1) Strange "clicks" clipping sounds when using clocked delay or Triple FX synced externally. I've to use external effects. (MIDI AND USB)

2) Arpeggio cannot be synced externally. It fails in a 50%. (MIDI AND USB)

3) Sometimes, there are random parameter messages flash when I turn a potentiometer. For example, If I try to modify the "Filter Cutoff" with the bottom-left encoder, it shows flashing and glitching the message "Mix" and "Cutoff" and I can't modify it turning the knob. I solve this with a little bit of menu diving and returning to that section in order to modify it again.. I don't know how to explain it. It's like a flashy message box.

4) Sometimes, I cannot modify a parameter turning the potentiometer (I experimenting it a lot with the bottom-left knob). For example, If I try to change the cutoff It simply don't change. I solve this with a little bit of menu diving and returning to that section in order to modify it.

5) I can't modify a wavetable of the OSC3 or the OSC2 accessing to that section from the OSC1 tab, from turning the near screen knob. It doesn't change, I've to menu diving a little bit and return to the OSC.2 or OSC.3 pushing the OSC buttons. I don't know if this is an expected behaviour.

I've got some issues too, some similar...
I contacted Waldorf about the issue mentioned in 1 (clipping etc.) I get the same problems when connected via USB using Ableton, same when using midi through my audio interface + Ableton, but no clipping when I use midi directly from my bass station 2. Connecting my bs2 via USB to my pcnand using the synth as the master clock seems to be fine. This also seems to address issue 2, the arp syncs perfectly to bs2.
3, 4 and 5 - i have no issues with potentiometer values jumping or anything else that you have mentioned, all pots work as they should, maybe a very slight lag after changing patches, but nothing like you have described. I bought a white desktop that came with 1.24 already installed.

Anyone else having problems?

I hope that my unit remains stable, using the bs2 as master isn't really a problem for me, but I can see this might be tricky for others. I had great service from Waldorf, they couldn't resolve the problems I saw. I suspect my very old interface (safffire 6 usb 1.0) or my version of ableton (9.5) sends a poor quality clock signal but waldorf replied to my emails quickly and offered advice. i think I might buy the Kenton thru-5 to see if the drive circuit for the midi outs makes a difference.

Some presets clip, but this is resolved by turning down the amplifier volume or filter drive on my unit.

I've installed again the v.1.24 and looks like a lot of bugs mentioned before has solved. Except the Midi signal problem. This happens when it's a delay in the clock source. I've tested with my BSP and no problems experimented. If I use ableton and my mido interface I have to use the 1ms delay option and no problems.

So, Im very happy right now. I have a little bit of lag while menu diving if I go too quick but Im very happy.

Are you just using the track delay in ableton below the mixer, using the delay knob in the external instrument device or applying it through the midi settings menu?

Nope thats doesnt have effect in the signal stability. I put the 1ms in the buffer size of the audio midi interface. In my case, focusrite 18i6
