Waldorf Pulse 2 static sound.

I've had the Pulse 2 for a while and i've noticed a static type noise on pressing notes, almost sounds like radio interference or ground hum, anyone notice this before and is it fixable?
It appears on lower bass notes like the 'Bass by rob' preset sounds kind of wheezy sounding, is that just because it's the lower notes theres some aliasing maybe?

Is a USB cable involved? USB is not electrically disconnecting two pieces of gear as MIDI.
So if you test it without USB but via MIDI In, is it better or gone?

I'm not using a USB Cable just a midi cable from a keyboard just now. The noise just seemed to appear a few months ago so i'm wondering if dust or debris has gotten into the pulse maybe via the screen not sure if that would affect the sound?

OK,

try a different PSU. Be carful checking the right voltage and polarity. And it should have at least as much Amper as the original one.

I don't think this is caused by dust or debris. If you shake the Pulse2 a bit, it would land on another place. And this would cause a different effect (if it is able to do so. Never heard about duch in a synth causing this).

Sure I'll try another PSU, i only have one adapter just now. The static sound isn't obvious with FX added just heard through it's headphones output.
