Waveterm emulator? was created by sepulchre
Wouldn't it be nice if Waldorf were to make an emulation of the Waveterm unit that could be bought as an extension of the PPG Wave2.2 hardware?

It allowed you to create your own waves and then load them into your Wave, up to 64 of them at a time. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about but it seems like it would not be too difficult to do.

Has anyone considered this, or heard of anything like it?

There used to be a software and interface to emulate a PPG waveterm on a PC and an interface to connect a PC to a real PPG wave. It was created by Hermann Seib many years ago. It is apparently not available anymore.

Dang.

If Waveterm could do it there should be some way load wavetables into the PPG (software).
