Largo killing logic

I cant play with largo for more than 2 mins before it kills logic.
everything is up to date, CPU is just tickling 50%
only had software a couple of months and its unusable
What can I do

Do you use the AU or the VST? I can use here in Reaper either the VST or the AU version of Largo. Maybe this is also possible on Logic.
Does this change or solve the problem?

Not really,you have to use a VST wrapper which adds to the cpu load
