Just starting out...

Curious....

Can you edit the Memory Sound Dump(s) to copy patches between separate dumps?
(weed out the unwanted and add different ones)
Or can you only dump/restore the whole four banks?

You can just send all 12 sounds from the Streichfett itself. But with a MIDI sysex string sent to the Streichfett, you get in return a single sound. The needed sysex strings are in the manual Appendix.
Once you got these single sounds, you can reload them into the Streichfett. If you change the Sound number value in the SysEx to 7Fh, the sysex sent into the Streichfett is not stored at the location it used to be before, but in the edit buffer. So you can store it wherever you like.

This is not super user friendly.

But for sorting, I copy the sounds on the Streichfett from one location to another. And then loaded external sounds always to the edit buffer.

Barebones, but covers all parameters and does patch and bank dump/loads....... supposedly.

I can't seem to get the Streichfett and software to communicate, but, don't know if it's just a MIDI thing (USB vs DIN, channeling, etc.)

Anyone else gotten this to work?
(Helpful hints welcome!!!)
