Blofleld hava a problem to sync with external clock

So apparently all of this was true for me. I had the keyboard version. the sync was not working properly and all arpegiator sound sets sounded terrible. However the synth sounds awesome by it self, that's given. I have used Cubase as a DAW and I have tried to link with Roland System 1 and see if it is the clock fu***ed up or is the Blofeld. The System 1 worked like a Swiss watch, perfect clocking. For the Blofeld was very hard to keep track, sometimes sounded like it was playing in different tempo at all. So I am not sure if it is the particular case, the one that I had was just bed or all Blofeld synths series. I have a chance to have the desktop version now and I can tell you that I am a bit scared. Does anyone figured this out? Can't be that hard. I am willing to provide all data needed to a Dev guys so that we solve this and make Blofeld great again.

Well, for me that is not a problem yet. I have sold all my Waldorf gear.
I am not willing to be a beta-tester of devices that I have paid for.

The main problem with MIDI clock sync on Blofeld is because it wont recieve a MIDI Clock start/stop signal. It ONLY recieves MIDI Clock.

It will Sync from a fixed position within the MIDI clock flow and will stay on that position in the sync signal until it stops recieving MIDI Clock.

Only way to get some sort of sync is to have your other gear follow the Blofeld, meaning start/stop MIDI clock have to be activated exactly on the Blofeld sync beat.

My Desktop Blofeld is from 2009 and Version 1.22 and this issue relates to cabled MIDI, cant remember what happens if you go for USB MIDI.

If you guys plan to get gear which sync proper then make sure it will recieve MIDI Clock + MIDI Clock start and stop.

Here is an example setup of several hardware synths where Blofeld is the only one NOT doing sync proper:

Korg microKEY -> MIDI ROUTER (Sipario) -> Kenton MIDI Thru 25 -> Roland TR 08, Nord Lead 4R, Nord Lead A1R, MicroMonsta, Access Virus, Blofeld.

All sync proper and also reset the sync when receiving a MIDI Clock start/stop, except for Blofeld which react like nothing happend and happely keep running to whatever MIDI Clock it first recieved.

Sipario is a MIDI ROUTER which provides MIDI Clock + MIDI Clock start/stop

Here is how each of the synths react to MIDI Clock start/stop:

Roland TR 08 = Stop (stops the Rhythmebox) Start ( starts the Rhythmebox)
Nord Lead 4R = Stop (nothing happens) Start (the arpeggio syncs to the start button push)
Nord Lead A1R = Stop (nothing happens) Start (the arpeggio syncs to the start button push)
Micromonsta = Stop (arpeggio stops playing) Start (arpeggio starts playing and in sync)
Access Virus = Stop (nothing happens) Start (the arpeggio syncs to the start button push)
Blofeld = Stop (nothing happens) Start (nothing happens)
